Baby sensory groups from 0 to 2 y.o.

Each week is packed with fun-filled themed based activities aimed to help develop baby’s senses. We seek to engage in activities that will help strengthen the already existing bond and ultimate love between parents and their babies. As it has been researched proven that babies that sign are less prone to crying and they are quicker to understand and learn new ideas and concepts. We will therefore be learning new signs and building on them weekly to help us as parent communicate with our little bundle of joy and for the babies to be able to express themselves. Babies aged 6 months, before developing the control of the vocal cord which usually happens from 18 months, tend to sign back and easily express some basic needs like signing for mom, dad, eat, drink, water, milk, more and all done just to mention a few, this can be achieved with an early exposure and frequent practice of signing. We’ll be signing, singing, dancing, creating crafts, reading, engaging in both messy and mess-free play, exploring different music instruments as well as create music using things easily found at home, with these activities purposely aimed at developing babies’ creativity, senses (smell, sight, hearing, touch and taste), spatial awareness, fine motor skills, gross motor skills as well as learning to socialize with other children.

The parents on the other hand tend to establish mom-friends as they will meet up with other moms and share ideas on parenting. And we’ll be sharing simple games, action games, finger play ideas, songs as well as easy to make play recipes to try out at home.
